  1. 75% is better than 0%! I’m just sorry that Sam didn’t receive the nomination, too! Winning the PCA will help!

  2. I am soooo very happy for Cait Balfe…..Sorry Sam {sob}

  3. What a snub! Happy for CB, so sad for Sam!

  4. I can not believe Sam has been overlooked again! The performance he gave was as we all know an award winner! Glad for Cait, Tobias and the cast and crew but just sayin……………..

  5. Happy for Cait, but so very disappointed for Sam.

  6. Reblogged this on Ana Fraser Lallybroch Blog.

  7. I can’t believe Sam didn’t get a nomination.

  8. Delighted that Outlander and its amazing actors are finally receiving the recognition they deserve. It is a good beginning.

  9. I am soooo happy for Tobias as I found he has been greatly overlooked – his acting takes my breath away. His transformation into Black Jack is awesome. think of when Claire meets him for the 1st time near the pond. His scowl & carriage was so defining of BJ, so different from placid Frank. Good on Tobias! luv Sam, disappointed he did not get nominated, however, there WILL be a next time. 😃

  10. Glad to see Outlander finally being nominated for important awards but how could anyone not be amazed by the acting abilities needed to portray Jamie Fraser. Sam Heughan is an extraordinary actor and should be recognized as such. Awards aren’t everything but it’s the principle of it all.

  11. The nominations for Outlander – Caitriona & Tobias are fantastic… But the Globes really messed up by not nominating Sam. His portrayal of Jamie Fraser from the beginning (an immature young man to Laird & husband) was so subtle and amazing… Sam really had to get to a dark place to film the last 2 episodes of the season..he gave all he had & more & to be snubbed is a travesty. Sam, I am sure is not acting to compete for awards…but he really deserved this one.. We were humbled and shaken by his performance… He must know how much he loved & admired!

  12. I certainly agree with all of the above comments. Tobias and Caitriona are extremely good actors. I must admit that Tobias’ role as Black Jack was so well performed that I hated him…now that’s good acting. Having said this, Sam Heughan is also a very good actor and should have been nominated for his role as Jamie Fraser. I’m sure he would have appreciated being nominated but he knows how good he is just by his climbing popularity.
