This was a very well researched book! One of the things I appreciate from the Outlander books, is the inspiration it gives to other fans. Some have take up crochet, costume designing, cooking/baking or writing a book. Such as the author of the book!! It’s a great book for those who appreciate Scottish history and history in general. Shona does a wonderful job taking you step by step. From Bonnie Prince Charlie in France and then Scotland, to the Campaign and the lead up to Culloden and the sad aftermath that changed the Scottish way of life.
