While Season 7’s second half will see the return of series regulars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan as time-traversing loves Claire and Jamie Fraser, they’ll be joined by Sophie Skelton as Brianna, Richard Rankin as Roger, John Bell as Young Ian, David Berry as Lord John Grey, Charles Vandervaart as William Ransom, and Izzy Meikle-Small and Joey Phillips as siblings Rachel and Denzell Hunter.
But when it comes to guest stars, there are more than a few individuals who we are excited to see onscreen. While three of them made their first appearances in Part 1, such as Rob Cameron (Chris Fulton), Buck MacKenzie (Diarmaid Murtagh), and Benedict Arnold (Rod Hallett), some characters are making long-awaited returns, and others who are making their first appearances when the show returns.

Outlander’s Lauren Lyle on her love for the character Marsali, her absence in Season 7, as well as her possible return in Season 8

Outlander star Lauren Lyle is “totally” up for reprising her role as Marsali MacKimmie Fraser in the Starz drama’s eighth and final season.
Marsali and Fergus (César Domby) were last seen in season six when they left Fraser’s Ridge in search of a better life for their children, and while they didn’t appear in the first half of season seven, and Lyle has confirmed to us that they won’t appear in part two either, she did say that she would “absolutely” return for season eight if she was asked to.
Speaking exclusively to to Digital Spy for the release of her new movie Mercy Falls, the actress continued: “I love Marsali. She was the character that changed my life.
