*VIDEO* Outlander Cast Interview with Collider   3 comments

Here’s a video of the Outlander cast interview with Collider

Warning: This video contains spoilers for Outlander season 1 and includes information about what’s to come in season 2. If you haven’t finished the first season and/or don’t want to know where the characters are heading next, do not watch this interview.

Now that that’s out of the way, how about a little preview of what’s to come inOutlander season 2? In season 1 we met Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) and watched what happened when she accidentally traveled back in time to 18th century Scotland and fell for Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). Going from 1945 to 1743 in a flash was clearly a very jarring experience for both Claire and Jamie, but it looks as though things are about to change big time yet again for the unlikely couple. In fact, they’re going to change so much that showrunner Ronald D. Moore said that prepping for season 2 is like prepping for a whole new series.

While the group was in New York City promoting the Outlander mid-season premiere back in April, I got to ask Moore, Balfe, Heughan and Lotte Verbeek for a little tease of what to expect in the next season. Check out what they told me in the video interview below.

Here’s the full interview of Sam Heughan with Collider

From Collider:

While Heughan was busy promoting the Outlander mid-season premiere back in April, I got the opportunity to talk to him about a particular event that will change Jamie’s life for a long time to come, what it’s like having his prothetic scars applied, the part of his costume he enjoys wearing most and much more. You can catch it all in the video interview below. Outlander airs on Starz on Saturday at 9pm.

Here’s a new interview of Sam Heughan with Collider

Collider: Have you felt the affects of the overwhelming fan support for the show, or are you in your own bubble, working on this show?

SAM HEUGHAN: We’re in Scotland and we are in a bubble. It hasn’t aired in the UK yet, so it’s quite nice to be anonymous there and get on with the job. And then, coming to America or wherever it’s being shown, the reaction has been fantastic. Being recognized, people are very, very friendly and genuine when they meet you. I’ve met them in the airport or in the street, and it’s lovely. We’re aware of it on Twitter and Facebook, and that support is fantastic. I always get really excited when I know an episode is coming up. I can’t wait for the fans to see it.

There are obviously big moments with this story that the fans wait to see brought to life. Is it fun to get to see the immediate reaction to those moments?

HEUGHAN: Absolutely! There are so many moments in the show, and I have a little thrill, every time. It’s really exciting.
