From EW:

A temporary droughtlander has made landfall — the next episode of the Starz drama won’t air until Oct. 22 — but EW has obtained an exclusive look of the much-anticipated reunion of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan).

We asked executive producer Matthew B. Roberts to tease the upcoming scene, which includes an Easter egg from set designer Jon Gary Steele (hope you can find it!) and a fitting way for Roberts to establish how he was the one who wrote the episode. (Sorry, you’ll have to wait until the episode to find out how he did it.)

NEW BTS Stills and Interview with Outlander Cinematographers for Season 3   3 comments

Here are some NEW BTS Stills and Interview with Outlnader Cinematographers Alasdair Walker and Stephen McNutt for Season 3

From THE ASC Mag:

The camera pans across the blood-covered casualties strewn about Culloden Moor. The Jacobites fighting for a Stuart restoration to the British throne were defeated by government troops in less than an hour on this vicious day: April 16, 1746. A thick fog rolls into the tragic scene. The camera pulls back into a wide shot, revealing the Redcoats searching through the bodies, killing off any traitorous survivors with a stab to the heart from their bayonets. The camera zooms in, searching for and finding Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) lying beneath the lifeless body of his mortal enemy, Capt. Jonathan “Black Jack” Randall (Tobias Menzies). As Jamie clings to life, his memory is flooded with images of the ill-fated battle, and through a series of flashbacks, he replays how events unfolded after he sent his wife, Claire Randall Fraser (Caitriona Balfe), and their unborn child back to the future through the ancient stone circle at Craigh na Dun.

NEW Photoshoot and Interview with Caitriona Balfe from Harper’s BAZAAR   1 comment

Here is a NEW Photoshoot and Interview with Caitriona Balfe from Harper’s BAZAAR

From Harper’s BAZAAR:

Tonight’s episode of Outlander marks a major shift in Season 3. After five episodes and 20 years spent in the 20th century, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) finally identified Jamie’s whereabouts in 1760s Scotland and, at the behest of her daughter, stepped back through the stones to return to him for, well, forever. Outlander fans have waited exactly 14 months to watch this moment play out onscreen, and it was quite a tease: Jamie and Claire lock eyes for only a few moments before Jamie collapses in a faint and the screen cuts to black.

NEW Interview with Sophie Skelton and Caitriona Balfe from Mashable   1 comment

Here is a NEW Interview with Sophie Skelton and Caitriona Balfe from Mashable

From Mashable:

After five episodes of build-up, the moment is finally here — Claire and Jamie have reunited!

Okay, so Jamie’s unconscious, but nobody’s perfect.

The emotional hour culminates in possibly the cruelest cliffhanger imaginable, as Claire finally returns to the past, arriving in 1766 Edinburgh to track down the print shop of one “Alexander Malcolm.” When she gets there and finally lays eyes on her soulmate after two decades, a world of emotion passes between the two of them, until the shock and awe overtakes our dashing hero and he faints before he can even say a word, clearly overwhelmed at the reality of seeing Claire after years of imagining her.
