  3. I so agree Sophie. I stood on the side of the main intersection near me ( in Melbourne, Australia) with a placard saying ‘Toot if Black Lives Matter to You.’ (Age and health mean’t I, sadly, didn’t join the tens of thousands in the City)”
    Matter” felt inadequate to me too, then a lady said, ” You are denying your own white heritage”. I replied, ‘I want equality and justice for all, but blacks have been and are missing out.’ She still did not understand. Shortly after, an afro -american guy passed and stopped to say ‘Thankyou Ma’am. It means so much to me that you are doing that’. that I was grateful for his comment. Precious’ is a better word tho. Now we need real change for the good. In Australia the situation regarding deaths in custody is even worse %-wise for our indigenous people.
