  1. I’m still in shock, excellent episode, although it was different from the book, it took readers egret we needed to go.. Epic acting by Sophie and Sam..

    Linda Christensen
  2. I thought the Bree storyline was excellent with a lot from the book even with some of the changes to move the important things forward elegantly. Great acting by the entire cast this season, but Sophie gets the prize for most improved. I thought too much time was spent with similar footage in the Roger story with the Mohawk. Not a lot happens on that journey, even in the books until Roger tries to escape. It was like they wanted to give Roger equal time but there was not a lot to work with that moved the story forward. I thought the cliff hanger at the end was an interesting departure from the book but effective. Will Roger go through the stones? Will he decide he can’t leave without Bree and end up being recaptured by the Mohawk and become their slave like in the book? From the previews it looks like events at River Run will be following the book. Lord John arrives and I hope they show the interactions between he and Bree as they are in the book. We could use a good laugh at this point in the story. Interesting change to have Murtagh sent in pursuit of Stephen Bonnett and from the preview catching up to him with Fergus’ help. Keeping Murtagh alive has resulted in some very interesting and engaging story lines that are not in the book, but I feel like they all could happen in Diana’s Outlander World.

  3. Loved it , used the book so very well , even the parts they added fit well. I was losing interest with all the meaningless changes, but now I am looking forward to next week.

  4. Great performance’s all around. The argument with Bri and Jamie was too one sided and Claire gets a free pass for her stupidity? 😜 This was always a frustrating book because she dumped down the characters in order for the plot to work. Love the actors but Toni G. should leave the writers room.

  5. I missed the Jamie moment by himself after overpowering Bree to show her her struggles would have been futile. When we hear BJR in Jamie’s head tender and terrifying words. It was so moving . We know Jamie is not over his ordeal with BJR . The fracturing of LJG and Jamie’s friendship it down to that rage with what happened to him in Wentworth

  6. I enjoyed the episode but didn’t see much love between Jamie and Claire. Whatever happens to them they are always close I think that is lacking in this season. Sending Murtagh after Bonnet – hope they are not going to go off on another tanget. Please stick to the story!

  7. I love the book “Drums of Autumn”, and I love the Show – am enjoying every episode. Lots of strong personalities in the Fraser family which causes some interesting situations.
