  1. We LOVE Cait. So happy for her! Honestly! But can someone just EXPLAIN why SAM HEUGHAN isn’t getting the nominations? Yes, he’s gorgeous, but the MAN CAN ACT!!!!

    • I am very happy for Caitriona, she should win the 2018 IFTA Gala Television Award. She is very deserving. And, yes, I agree with you wholeheartedly, Sam Heughan should also be getting the nominations. I cannot comprehend why he is being overlooked. His acting is brilliant – he has his role as Jamie down pat. He is thrilling to watch. His performance in every scene commands respect. I loved him in “The Battle Joined”, where Jamie is slipping in and out of consciousness, aware of all his fallen comrades and dreaming of Claire, and his courage in facing his captors. I am hoping that in 2018 he will be awarded for all his talent. Actually, Sam is fantastic in all his scenes.

  2. I’ll be following this one for sure. Caitriona Balfe is so brilliant in her work – she is very deserving of this award.

  3. Rhona, I totally agree with you in all aspect that you said about Sam Heughan – he should be getting so many awards – he certainly deserves them
but sometime life is so unfair that it makes me so angry when I see these things happening.
He has been spectacular in all episodes = he has won all the trophies from his fans.

  4. I’ll be voting for Caitriona Balfe for sure! She is such a talented actress and, if anyone deserves the award, it is Caitriona Balfe. She is perfect in the role of Claire. The emotions she shows in some of the scenes are felt and shared by viewers. Go get it Caitriona!

    • If she doesn’t win – there is something very wrong out there. I loved all the episodes Caitriona has been in – her acting is brilliant. So, Good Luck to Caitriona Balfe on April 28th,2018.
