“The show is now set in America, in North Carolina,” Caitriona Balfe, who plays Claire, told ELLE.com at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
We know they were shipwrecked and washed up in the colonies at the end of last season, but what will their lives look like there? Will they ever get home? Will Captain Jack Randall come back from the dead? So many questions.
Can hardly wait for “Drums of Autumn” to come to the screen. But, until then, I am rewatching Season 3 (which I loved), and, I am also rewatching Seasons 1 and 2 (which I also loved – and have the blu-ray on both). Both my paper back books of “Outlander”, “Dragonfly in Amber”, have fallen apart and will be replaced. The 25th anniversary edition of “Dragonfly in Amber” – that book will be treated with great care and will be treasured (no dog earing the pages). Caitriona Balfe is a very intelligent actress, gives great interviews. She also has a great sense of humour – that means a lot.
