Oh my! This is a very scary you!!! LOL!! Very primitive needles. LOL! But after the treatment it sure feels great. LOL! I love it!!!
Certainly is a lot to go through! You’re a trooper Sam Heughan!
Looks hurtful Sam Heughan
That’s gonna leave a mark. Mark me. Ouch!
Not my favorite photo of Jamie/Sam.
That had to be so painful for Sam Heughan. A lot of ‘Ouches’ there. A living pin cushion – poor Sam. What a person will go through to play a part on a TV series. I hope he didn’t feel too much pain afterwards. Even to have your picture taken when you’ve got needles in your face calls for a lot of courage. Hope those needles didn’t stay in too long.
And no hair in his face …. now that’s definitely a look we don’t see often … I don’t imagine how painful that must’ve been … but the needle in ” first wife ” and whatever other ones to come
…another one of those things that actors go through for something they love to do…
He looks so young in this picture.
Ladies, I can assure you that it is the remarkable work of the ” make up ” department and they would not hurt Sam or any other actor – the needles look
very primitive because of the era and they did work to make a person feel better, nowadays the needles are much, much more refined. Great job!
And yes he still looks great!! Thank you for sharing.
Hi Angela. I love your comment – you are right, the make-up department really isn’t out to hurt anyone. It just looks painful. And, Sam does still look great no matter what.
If you look closely, you can see the that the “make-up” department did a great job adding some extra skin to cover the needles. They are very good at their job, you definitely can’t tell on screen. Amazing what they can do, but I’m sure it takes some time making it just right.
A lot of talented people out there.
