As many of you know, Hurricane Harvey is devastating Southern Texas over the past few days. Many people are in dire need of help.

As the event is still ongoing, if you live in Texas, please listen to locale authorities and evacuate if they ask you do so. Here’s some information:

Only call 911 for a life threatening emergency

You can reach the Coast Guard by calling the following numbers
281-464-4851
281-464-4852
281-464-4853
281-464-4854
282-464-4855

Do not drive in flood waters.

We have compiled a list of Charities and non-governmental organisations that are currently raising funds to help the people that have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. These charities are verified.

Please be careful when donating to any other charity. Sadly, in times of great suffering, some individuals try to take advantage of the situation. Before donating make sure the charity is real.

  1. Please remember the animals and pets too… they are suffering as well and many shelters are under water and in dire need of help and rescue. They rescue groups and shelters that are helping out also need emergency supplies and people to foster and adopt. Even out of state.
