Well, with weeks still to wait and nothing to do, I’m using that image as a “dream sequence” in-reverse–Jamie & Claire sitting on the horse (Claire in her 20th Century-made, 18th Century dress) dragging BOTH Lord John Grey AND the Ghost of Black Jack Randall (šæš»š”) by tandem ropes behind it, up and down the cobblestones of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Fantasy payback because Jamie & Claire should get the upper hand once in a while, if only in our imaginations. Paybacks are hell.š

Poor Jamie! He just couldn’t seem to get away from being dragged off somewhere. His resilience and pride though shone through even though he suffered a lot. So happy that Claire did get back to him to give him hope. I am rereading Voyager – Wow! A great book.
I can hardly wait. Thanks as always.
