Well, with weeks still to wait and nothing to do, I’m using that image as a “dream sequence” in-reverse–Jamie & Claire sitting on the horse (Claire in her 20th Century-made, 18th Century dress) dragging BOTH Lord John Grey AND the Ghost of Black Jack Randall (👿👻😡) by tandem ropes behind it, up and down the cobblestones of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Fantasy payback because Jamie & Claire should get the upper hand once in a while, if only in our imaginations. Paybacks are hell.😊

Poor Jamie! He just couldn’t seem to get away from being dragged off somewhere. His resilience and pride though shone through even though he suffered a lot. So happy that Claire did get back to him to give him hope. I am rereading Voyager – Wow! A great book.
