  1. Wow! Different twists and turns from the book but arrived at the same place…waiting, in this case for STARZ, AND ANOTHER year to see Jamie and Claire reunited.
While I watched Episode 213, it was hard to see the tv screen most of the time b/c of the tears in my eyes. “Dragonfly In Amber’s” 1746 was gutwrenching (everyone was gaunt, exhausted and starved–and the main characters’ panic was palpable-my heart broke for Fergus, especially, besides Jamie, Claire and Murtagh…Dougal, you scoundrel and Rupert so ungrateful of your true friends!) and 1968 up & down til Brianna’s acceptance of her mother’s confessions and undying declaration of love for Brianna’s true father.
Even Diana must have been somewhat amazed at the writers’ re-crafting of her story; “ah-ha!” moments, thoughts of clever changes that kept me on the edge of my seat. Struggling to comprehend the twists & turns (while my husband asked questions and I reminded him how DG wrote them. Watched the clock as the season wrapped up. Oh, HOW am I going to live for another year to see the STARZ characters reunited as I know they will be from the books? A year isn’t a guarantee for anyone but I hate, at 63, to be wishing the time to move fast! But it WILL go slowly!
Well done, ALL! Learning to love STARZ Brianna and Roger; absolutely devoted to STARZ Jamie & Claire…as I have been to the book characters in all 8 books of DG’s incredible saga. Oh, Romann (young Fergus), can you grow up fast to play Fergus as an adult, too? And, writers, KEEP Murtagh at Jamie’s side!
In my young years, the old saying was love meant you “never had to say you were sorry.”
This love is much more grand and eternal. The thought of 200 years in Purgatory as punishment from God for loving his rare woman well, Jamie’s and Claire’s soulmate love affair is red hot commitment and to die for. Luckily, our Jamie doesn’t have to. Come, Season 3, quickly. This love shouldn’t have to wait!

  2. Well said👍
