The Saks display had just the right combination of glamour, sophistication and drama. Dresbach the 18th century era as “one of the sexiest, most amazing periods,” emphasizing that she incorporated runway trends that are reminiscent of the 18th century, including 1948 Dior.
“Chanel did it in 2015. Lagerfeld’s been doing it forever and Vivienne Westwood,” Dresbach said of her approach. “So we just kind of kept going, and we connected to the 1940s, Dior, Balenciaga, Balmain, those designers for Claire. So we’re all over the place. It’s really great.”
