OUTLANDER babe Caitriona Balfe knew she had summit special with co-star Sam Heughan — when the TV hunk took her hillwalking in HIGH HEELS.
The blockbuster is filmed in Scotland and the pair got to know each other in the early days of shooting by scaling North Berwick Law in East Lothian.
And climbing fanatic Sam refused to let Caitriona’s bad choice of footwear stop her assent to the top.

The Irish beauty said: “He’s very into his climbing.
“He got me to climb North Berwick Law — but I was in high-heeled boots when I did it.
“I was like, ‘It was the only shoes I brought with me!’
“He is totally Mr Outdoors.”
She also revealed that Sam and fellow co-star Graham McTavish introduced her to Glasgow’s bars when she first arrived for filming.
She said: “Sam’s shown me around the pubs of Glasgow. And he and Graham have been leading the education in the ways of whisky to the rest of the cast.”
The duo are back on screen in the UK on April 10 as £50million fantasy epic Outlander, based on author Diana Gabaldon’s hit books, returns for a second series.
