Sam Heughan, who stars in “Outlander,” was once told by an acting teacher that he couldn’t act.
Thank goodness he used those words as constructive criticism and went on to play Scotsman Jamie Fraser on the Starz series.
Heughan appeared on Good Day LA Monday morning and talked about the upcoming season two, as well as his experience at San Diego Comic-Con where he dressed as a pirate for a panel and managed to down an entire bottle of whiskey with his panel-mates.

That was a super interview. Sam’s humor was great! He defiantly is a natural people person.
Sam is such a nice guy – it’s really a pleasure to watch anything he does. But what a mismatched couple of interviewers – and again, the under the kilt question.
