I just don’t get Diana’s ongoing rude comments about Sam (23:30). She says she’s happy he was cast as “Jamie”, and yet she often makes inappropriate, sexist, self-indulgent comments like the one in this video. Sam is clearly a talented actor, and (according to his cast mates) a good person . Sounds like a hostile work environment to me- she seems to have forgotten he is a human being. I feel bad that anyone should be treated that way (and clearly the rest of the panel was uncomfortable). I’ve lost respect for her.
Diana has a dry sense of humour. She’s joking around, Sam knows this.
I don’t believe it- and I don’t think the panel did either. Verbal abusers often say “I was just joking” to cover their inappropriate comments.
