Outlander is staying put on Amazon.

Amazon Prime Instant Video UK has picked up exclusive rights to further seasons of the Starz period drama after extending their licensing deal with international distributor Sony Pictures Television. The show’s second season will premiere on Amazon in the UK in 2016, with episodes being made available to stream within 24 hours of their initial broadcast on Starz.

Amazon claims that Outlander was a huge success with their subscribers, though, like their closest competitor Netflix UK, they refuse to release specific ratings data. Per the streaming service, Outlander broke records to “become the most streamed show in its opening week” and also set a new record for “the highest number of customers streaming a single season in a day”.
